Stroll behind the scenes and stand toe-to-toe with the Zoo's tallest resident, the Masai Giraffe!
Enjoy feeding the giraffes a selection of their favorite foods, typically browse varieties of honeysuckle and bamboo.
Marvel at their long eyelashes and even longer purple tongue as they grasp their favorite fresh leaves from your waiting hand.
This hands-on feeding benefits The Wild Nature Institute based in Africa and supports their efforts to monitor population sizes of this endangered species. Learn more about the Wild Nature Institute's project focused on Masai Giraffe conservation here:
